Lark

Long run with Raimondo. We left at 6:45, unfortunately without Paolo, the dog, he was quite disappointed on seeing us leaving without him, but he is not yet prepared for a long run. We went to Campbell, left to the LG Creek trail to Meridian and back to Lark. Of the planned 18, we reduced to 15 to allow Raimondo to increase the mileage regularly. Total of 15.3 mi at good pace of 8:55 for 2:16 h.

Los Gatos Creek

Easy run with Paolo in LG Creek this morning, I was feeling little tired as I took the bike back for the commuting. Total of 6:34 at 8:17 pace.

Vasona

Long run with Raimondo to Vasona Lake and back. I added 4.5 mi with Paolo before the run to get to 16 mi planned. Total of 15.92 in 2:25 at 9:09 pace.

Los Gatos Creek

Usual route with Paolo early in the morning, still before the sun rise. This time I did not leave him going off leash. Total of 7:23 mi in 1:04 at 8:51 pace.

Good run with Paolo, but when back he started to suffer a disconfort in the left hear, I had to bring him to the vet because of a foxtail that came in. Unfortunately, it is too risky to let him going off leash, there are too many of these foxtails. Total of 7.7 in 1:03 at 8:16 pace.

Silicon Valley Marathon - 10

Two weeks of training for the Silicon Valley Marathon. I completed the training planned with a small difference of.6 mi. I actually did not follow exactly the plan, for the speed work I added some sessions during the normal runs, for the 12-14 mi long runs, I did split them in the weekend.

Another routine run with Paolo, we added the 4 mi missed yersterday and almoust 4 mi of last week. Total of 7.44 mi at 8:27 pace.

Meridian

Planned 14 mi per schedule but hand up doing 9.7 mi as I went out with Paolo and when back home, I did not feel adding another 4 mi. I will do them tomorrow. Nice early morning run at Meridian via the LG Creek trail. Total of 9.7 mi at 8:46 pace.

Los Gatos Creek

Routine run at LG creek. Made a little round at the ponds and let the dog offleash on the way back. Total of 7.5 mi at 8:31. I had some interval 800 speed up.
